Programs

Betty Amsden scholarships support the personal and professional development of future leaders in the Australian community, specifically in the not-for-profit sector.

The scholarships are designed to inspire our future leaders, helping them strengthen their existing skills and develop new ones; enabling each to reach new career and personal heights, and become role models for others in the community.

The Betty Amsden Scholarship Program comprises two streams:

  • Structured learning: The activity undertaken by the applicant can be in the form of a structured learning program, such as a course or seminar.
  • Unstructured learning: The activity undertaken by the applicant can be in the form of an informal learning activity, such as a field trip to visit and tour related organisations/facilities, or a mentoring activity.

Please note, at present scholarship applications are by invitation only. No unsolicited scholarship requests will be accepted.
